Bluestone Edge is now in it’s third year. We continue to enjoy the opportunity to help sports people and organisations thrive, and we remain grateful for the opportunities we have had to contribute to the cultural health of sport and business over the last twelve months. Some examples include;
- Supporting Australian Olympic Swimming at both review and development phases on culture and leadership in 2012/13.
- Working with the Canadian Olympic Committee on team unity, the sound culture ‘dashboard’ and the redefinition of success as part of the Olympic Excellence Series in Vancouver, May 2013.
- The establishment of the third voyage in the ‘Deepend Journey’ series involving elite AFL players exploring how sport can be used as a vehicle for social justice in Australia and overseas. This journey is to the favelas of Rio de Janeiro in October 2013 in partnership with Richmond Football Club, IBISS, RMIT University and Global Reconciliation.
Bluestone Edge continues to expand with the appointment of Gerry Berson and Paul Oliver as Senior Consultants. We launched our new website at the end of July which tells more about who we are, what we do and the clients and partners with whom we work. There is an opportunity to sign up for Ethics in Sport weeklies for a round up of news from around the globe, or browse the comprehensive range of resources and products including the Culture and Ethics Resource Centre, Sports Leadership Resource Centre and What’s up with that?
